Description
Reporting to the Research Manager, the appointee will be required to (a) be responsible for planning the overall project, conducting research works and achieving the project deliverables; (b) manage R&D projects, including technical and financial aspects and other project administrative tasks, such as preparing project updates and reports; (c) work closely with R&D researchers and personnel; coordinate with local and overseas universities, research institutions and business partners, and handle enquiries in a professional manner; and (d) perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirement
Applicants should (a) have a bachelor’s degree or above in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Apparel/Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry or Textile Engineering; a postgraduate degree in these disciplines would be an advantage but not a must; (b) have four or more years of research/ relevant work experience; (c) be highly-organized and capable of working under pressure with multi-task assignments; (d) have good interpersonal skills; and (e) be fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with good command of Putonghua being an advantage.
