What is G2G?
Set up in 2021, the Garment-to-Garment (G2G) Recycle System is the mini-scale production line set up in a retail shop recycling post-consumer garment to a new one. It demonstrates integral and closed-loop garment recycling process. It is an environmentally friendly process without using any water and chemicals.

Registration
Submit the Online Booking Form. A confirmation email will be sent for successful booking.
Preparation
Bring one used garment with the booking confirmation email to the G2G counter before the specified date.
Sweater and T-shirt are preferred. Garments made of Lycra, spandex, down and leather, rubber print and special coating, etc are NOT suitable for G2G recycling.
Old Garment Review
Please ensure the used garment is cleaned and valuable items are removed. Our researcher will evaluate the condition and recyclability of the used garment. If it is recyclable, you may get a brand-new recycled knitwear with a fee; or donate the used garment for our research study. It usually takes 21 working days for the production of recycled garment.
Fibre Blending and Color
To enhance the yarn spinning strength, virgin fibre, e.g. cotton and lyocell, will be blended with recycled material. The virgin fibre blending percentage varies depending on the quality of the used garment.
The virgin fibre is naturally white, making the upcycled garment appear lighter than the original. Recycled garment may contain some foreign fibres.
Style Selection
Crew neck, v neck and turtleneck sweater, sweater dress and scarf are available for selection.
