To take part in a retail consulting project to help client build a retail platform that spearhead sustainable concept in fashion. From merchandising, retail experience to marketing, providing an all-rounded concept and execution strategy for the retail project.
The appointee will be required to (a) work closely with the Strategy and New Project Lead and the client develop and implement the platform’s product and retail sales strategy for all retail outlets including online platforms; (b) research international marketplace on sustainable fashion and explore new retail sales opportunities; (c) perform sales and customer analysis and identify growth potentials in existing brands and products; (d) develop a network of local & international partnership to promote and flourish sustainable fashion community; (e) assist the client on retail and buying activities, product development, e-commerce and business development for the platform aiming to drive the profitability; (f) plan and implement marketing and sales promotional programmes with the client to increase brand exposure and sales opportunities; (g) work closely with internal departments, client and external partners to ensure smooth operation and business growth; and (h) perform ad hoc duties and projects assigned.
Requirement
Applicants should (a) have a recognized degree in any disciplines; (b) have at least two years of experience in retail strategy, merchandising, marketing, and customer analytics, with retail consulting experience preferred; (c) have strong knowledge of retail, consumer goods, entertainment and broader consumer-facing industries; (d) have excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills; (f) be passionate in fashion retail industry, sustainability and innovations; (g) be self-motivated, independent, well-organized individual; (h) have good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin; and (i) be proficiency in Microsoft Office, experiences in Adobe Creative Suite would be an advantage.
